Open Container Waiver Request Form

 

At least five business days prior to the proposed date of any special event, any person eighteen years of age or older may apply on his/her own behalf or on hehalf of an organization for a permit to carry open container or containers of alcoholic beverages at a special event. 

The application shall contain the following: name, address and telephone of applicant and or organization, purpose of the event, date, location, approximate times, approximate persons. There is no fee required for said permit. 

Please print and complete the Open Container Waiver Request Form below, and hand deliver or mail it to :

 Syracuse Police Department 

Special Events Division

Syracuse, NY 13202. 

Please note that you are not quaranteed a waiver by filing an application.  Approval of application is at the discretion of the Syracuse Police Department.
